These female impalas are grazing in the African bush. Among Impalas, there are three distinct social groups can be observed – the territorial males, bachelor herds and female herds. The guides called the bachelor herds "Losers" because they missed their chance to impress the females.

The Southern Fiscal (Lanius collaris), commonly known as the Fiscal Shrike or "Jacky Hangman." This bird is native to sub-Saharan Africa, including South Africa. The Southern Fiscal is known for its distinctive black head, white breast, brownish back, long tail feathers, and striking red eyes. It's also known for its predatory behavior, often impaling its prey on thorns or barbed wire, which gives it the nickname "Jacky Hangman."
